Good news for United this week as Ashley Young has returned to training for the first time more than a month.
Young has been out of action with a knee problem since feeling discomfort during United’s Barclays Premier League win over Fulham on August 25.
However Young joined in full training with the handful of senior United players who are not on international duty this week.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that Young may be available for the home game against Stoke City on October 20.
He is also hopeful that central defender Chris Smalling will be available although he didn’t train yesterday as expected.

United we ‘re alive again. Having Young and Smelling fully back to training isn’t just a boast to us but a divine blessing. I wish our rest players on injury list a quite and miraculous healing in Jesus name, Amen!
Why did smalling not train 2day again? I hope another injury has not occurred. Oooo
