Fergie Call Blanc About Cavani

About time that Manchester United have tapped in Sir Alex Ferguson’s rolodex as the Monday papers all have the story that Fergie called former United centre half, and current PSG boss Laurent Blanc about striker Edinson Cavani.

Apparently Blanc told his former boss that while PSG would not listen to bids in the January transfer window, they would be willing to discuss the possibility of a sale at the end of the season.

Cavani joined PSG for a reported €64m from Napoli in the summer and has been a success in Ligue 1, scoring 17 goals in all competitions this season. But Cavani is said to be unimpressed with the standard in Lique 1 and the lack of passion and atmosphere in the grounds and would be open to a move in the summer after the World Cup.

If United was able to sign Cavani, the immediate thought would be that they will sell Wayne Rooney, who will have only one year left on his current deal next summer. But would they instead let Rooney run down his contract hoping that they can still sign him to a new deal and instead let van Persie go as Cavani would appear to be a more logical replacement for the Dutch striker than for Rooney?

Moyes is not a serious man and man u is bigger than him, this is exactly the team sir Alex used to won PL last season and you can not even manage the same squad to win games and you called yourself a manager,if you lose the league cup against sunderland you better resign because your a good manager

I don`t know what Sir Alex Ferguson was thinking when He decided to take David Moyes who is lock of experience to put him on big Team like Man United to be head Coach, someone who coach a Team for 11 years with out winning any cup.
