Keeping it in the family, SAF is sending two of United’s best reserves to son Darren’s Peterborough on loan.
Fergie is putting Italian attacker Davide Petrucci and centre half Scott Wootton to Posh to help young Fergie in his relegation battle.
Petrucci and Wootton were wanted by other Championship clubs, with Blackburn, Bristol City and Birmingham after the defender.
However Ferguson wants the pair to joing Peterborough’s bid to beat the drop in a major favour for his lad.
Wootton will also sign a new two-year contract at United while Petrucci will try to show he can play first-team football as he goes into the shop window.
