United Agree Personal Terms With Eden Hazard

by David on May 23, 2012

Eden Hazard’s agent says that the Lille winger has agreed personal terms with three Premier League sides (United, City, Chelsea) and the player is now deciding what team to play for.

“We are no longer in the negotiations stage,” Hazard’s agent, John Bico said. “We have reached agreement with all parties. There will be no higher bid.

“Eden has already said he wants it to be fixed before June 2. He will decide after the Red Devils’ (Belgium) games against Montenegro and England, then go on holiday with peace of mind.”

Hazard is reported to be looking for wages of around £200,000-a-week, which if true, it is shocking to me that United would upset their wage scale for Hazard. That would make him the second highest paid player at United (behind Rooney). I don’t believe anyone else is on £150,000-a-week.

Throw in a £35m transfer fee and that is you are looking at £75m over four years for Hazard. Is he worth that kind of money?

Yes he is a talented player, and his hat-trick in his last game for Lille showed his class. But this transfer is starting to feel like The Decision, where it is all about him. That attitude works better at City or Chelsea where there are other players (Tevez, Terry) who feel that they are bigger than the club. That is not the case at Old Trafford.

What do you think about Hazard? Is he the big signing that United needs to make this summer? Can he develop into another Ronaldo?

He is a very talented player and a world best player in the making bt his discision come june 2 wil decide that.he could go to sh!££y where he could be their superstar for a few years before falling down their pecking order and dropping 2 d bench as a constant warmer or go 2 chelsea where he would be sucked and drained 4 years of his talent before opting for a newer prospect which would also see him drop 2 d bench and die of frustration(jst like d good work they did wit torres)lol.or better stil move 2 man utd where he would undergo development every day,get a chance 2 play under the perfect supervision of (the best coach the world of football has ever seen)sir alex ferguson, get a chance 2 be a legend and join the club greats and history and also play along side the likes of ryan giggs, paul scholesey, wayne rooney.2 mention but a few.2 BE SINCERE I FEAR THE MONSTER SIR ALEX FERGUSON WIL TURN HIM INTO.
